Short passage:

Sorry I haven't had much type to write recently as there has been loads going on in school, assessments here tests there, practically everywhere! Grade 10 is pretty intense but I wrote a short paragraph about miscommunication and it's effects in our current society, anyways, I'm not a philosopher so excuse me if It's a little cheesy :)

If someone doesn’t tell you to something new, doesn’t that mean that you carry on doing what you regularly would do? How is a person supposed to know when something new becomes regular if the person who arranged it doesn’t tell them. It’s simply a lack of communication. In most cases this would be a minor thing, a simple problem that could be sorted out between two people.  But when you makes plans with someone else, what happens then? Suddenly this repertoire you have built for yourself comes into play and takes control of your brain, your actions. You need to keep up this image that other people have of you, of your family. So you assume that whatever’s new is here to stay, like it will never go away. Yet what happens when the person who was supposed to tell you that you need to do something new. What happens then Do the people you had plans with judge you and your commitments? Do they say you are unreliable, do they assume that you aren’t in control of your life? Yes, yes they do and this is the tragedy of your current society, we jump to conclusions, searching for a reason, anything that is feasible. We refuse to consider the facts that there are obligations, responsibilities that people must fulfill. And when people fail to fulfill their responsibilities, when they neglect their requirements and when they forget their obligation, that’s when miscommunications occur. Because that’s all arguing really is, a lack of understanding of the other persons opinion. It’s our lack of empathy towards people of our own social class or above that causes us to turn green with envy or red with ferocious fury or even blue with a thousand thoughts, confused, full of uncertainty. In general miscommunication is the kryptonite of some relationships, and it is such a sad thing to let get in the way of you and another person, don’t let it get to you.

That's it from me, I promise to write more soon
Bye :)

Chris Huntington

Hello :D sorry I haven't been writing for a long time, I have been like super busy with school :'(. Yes I am in highschool and I strongly dislike it. My lunch is at like 1 o clock. I mean who eats at 1?!?!?! oh well, my school is weird.

Sooo, today my grade talked to CHRIS HUNTINGTON :D he is so cool, he taught us how to make our writing better and yeah. I never knew he taught at my school :3 I guess that pretty cool... I'm going to be kind and share what he said with you guys because I can ;)

First thing! try to have 2 stories going on at once or at least 2 events/important things going on at the same time, that way the reader is interested.

Second thing: Make it empathic! describe emotions so that the reader can relate to the character (you know make them spazz out over all the feels :P)

Lastly (And I dont necessarily agree with this) is write what you know, you have experienced it yourself so it will be easier for you to write :)

Kay well thats it really :) I'm so sorry for not posting much (like at all) but I mean like nobody reads this anyway :)

Trapped

Ok so I was coming back from a hospital and was heading towards the door with my mom. When we got to the door, it was locked. So we went to the other door and that was locked too, now I started to get freaked out and a really weird scenario came to mind. Heres what I thought could happen... Yes I know I have an extremely interesting brain ;) anyway enjoy :D

As I left the room I said goodbye to Leo and tried to close the door so that he wouldn't wake up. But as I opened it, a high pitch squeal came from the un-oiled hinges of the door. Luckily Leo was still asleep and I quietly slipped out. As the door closed, I accidentally bumped into a lady carrying a tray. She said sorry and walked away hurriedly, I ignored it at the time, just thought it was really weird. I wanted to get home before the rush hour started so I walked as fast as I could to the car park door. I grabbed the handle and pulled. It didn't open. I tired pushing. It didn't open. I thought hmmmm well this is unusual, so I walked down to the other exit. That one was locked too. I started heading for the main exit, thought i could walk up the ramp to the car park. After a few minutes of walking i approached the door and once again it was locked. I tried pushing the handle up and down in a frantic attempt to leave, because as far as I know there are only 5 exits to the hospital. Several tries late I gave up and was just about to slide down the wall and sit there until somebody came, but the light started to flicker. Again I disregarded it as if it were nothing, immediately  I heard the creek of an IV drip machine, and it was becoming louder. I pivoted on the heels of my feet and ran. I ran as fast as I could, as far as my legs would carry me. Until I came to a dead end. So I ran back and dashed down the other hallway. there I slipped on something wet, and sticky, and warm, and red! IT WAS BLOOD, blood that was collecting in a little puddle on the floor. I got up and my hands started to shiver and my legs started to wobble. I wasn't sure if they could support me weight but I tried to stand up. Someone came behind me and clamped their hand filled with anaesthesia. So much that It was overwhelming and my eyes began to droop. The last thing I could remember was that face, covered in a green mouth mask and head cap, with blue eyes that seemed so icy they could freeze hell. And all he said was "welcome to the hospital, once you come in you can never leave"

so what do you think? tell me if there is any way I can improve or make it more interesting. dont forget to follow and comment :)
